Day Radiance

For centuries women and yes, even men have unhappily watched their once smooth skin start showing those unsightly wrinkles that everyone must face at some time in their lives. One of the most important things for you to do in order to tackle the well being of your skin is to be educated about it. Start by taking a look at what a wrinkle actually is. It is a ridge where the skin is no longer flat.

What Causes Wrinkles

Wrinkles are caused by several factors. The epidermis, which is the outer layer of skin, acts as a barrier to the external environment. As a person ages, these cells become thinner and less sticky, which dries out the skin.

Factors that promote formation of wrinkles include:

Smoking and alcoholism

Light skinned people, as they are more prone to sun damage.

Heredity

Clothing – the lesser the sun exposure, the lesser probability of wrinkling

Occupation – outdoor profession leads to early wrinkles

What Natural Remedies Do for Wrinkles

The best wrinkle cream to go for is one containing all natural ingredients. One natural ingredient which is good for the skin is Cynergy TK which reduces fine lines and wrinkles, promotes firmness and elasticity and increases the radiance of the skin.

The easiest way to avoid wrinkles is to limit exposure to sun. Apply a sunscreen with 15 SPF (sun protection factor) or higher, while going out to block harmful UV rays from damaging your skin.

Natural skin lightening products contain no bleach or harmful chemicals and are therefore suitable for long-term use and are not a quick fix solution like some big brands are.

If you want to know about getting rid of face wrinkles, try the most natural remedies first. Stopping smoking might sound impossible if you have been addicted for a long time but smokers look an average of ten years older than their real age.

Always moisturize the skin if you want to know how to get rid of wrinkles. Every night and every morning, use a gentle moisturizer rich with vitamins and antioxidants. This will help you maintain a young glow, and help get rid of wrinkles in a natural way that doesn’t involve intensive surgery. Everyone wants to get rid of wrinkles, but not everyone wants to go through painful and costly surgeries.

The best products to get rid of wrinkled skin contain natural substances found in other parts of the world. One of these amazing natural ingredients is derived from a type of Japanese sea kelp. It is called phystessence wakame. In fact, in Japan, they also eat this seaweed as part of their healthy diet.

Water: Your water intake plays a huge role on the way your skin looks and feels. You should be drinking at least eight glasses of water every day. If you are currently not drinking that much you should begin increasing your water intake so your body does not become dehydrated.

Do not use scalding hot water or strong soaps on your face because these kill the top skin layers and allow the natural skin oils to escape from the lower layers. The result is dull, dried out skin and more wrinkles.

SO LET IT GO, THAT MYTHIC IRELAND

So let it go, that mythic Ireland!
Treasure the past, but let it, let it go!
Perhaps it was at one time wholly our land –
All of it – but that was long ago.
The time when states were nations is now ending.
Races know no borders; people move
In search of life, their clothes and colors rending
Cultures that must now their presence prove.
Know, then, that not politics, but art,
‘Mid neighbors various in faith and race,
Sustains a people’s history and heart,
Dependent more on ritual than place.
As on St. Patrick’s Day we march in green,
Yet we must let go the blood-drenched dream.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY COMMEMORATES THE TURNING

St. Patrick’s Day commemorates the turning
To Christianity of Irish clans.
Perhaps, if you’re not Irish, there’s no burning
Ache to march, so you’ve got other plans.
The day, however, marks a special moment
Regarding the persuasion of us all.
Islands are not islands of the spirit;
Callings come to more than hear the call.
Know that we are one, and Irish monks
‘Ere we were born redeemed us with their prayers,
Sang our chants and gave our gracious thanks,
Died our deaths and climbed our golden stairs.
All changed for all after Patrick’s day;
Years turn, and yet their winds within us play.

THIRTY-FIVE YEARS LATER HE WAS GONE

Thirty-five years later he was gone,
Leaving her with just an empty hole
Where once her life had been. Bereft of meaning,
She rode the ancient fury of her grief.

So many years of loving him, a garden
Dissolved into a wild, wasted sea!
So much of life now waiting to be buried,
Poisoned, lying putrid in her heart!

And yet she could do nothing for awhile
But lie upon her bed of writhing pain,
Knowing that in time she would be healed,
But never, never quite completely whole.

Always there would be this frozen anger
Waiting to be placed upon the table.
No matter her attempts to be forgiving,
She would again consume that bitter meal!

And even in the sunshine of her laughter,
Her life returned to her by time and love,
Even in the meadows of her joy,
There still would be the place he left behind.

BEHOLD THE MOTHER WITH HER NEWBORN CHILD

Behold the mother with her newborn child!
An icon of a hope that never dies.
Death may label all we cherish lies,
Yet this love lies too deep to be defiled.
We clear an inner field where fate has smiled,
Letting play the pleasures of surmise,
Holding back all contrary replies,
As though our thoughts might turn the winters mild.
Despite the well-known travesties of time,
Each time a child is born we dream anew,
For only thus our losses are regained.
Though we must share the destiny of slime,
No passion in our palette is more true
Than that which cradles innocence unstained.

HOLINESS IS EVERYWHERE AROUND YOU

Holiness is everywhere around you,
A radiance that is because it is.
Perhaps you have not seen its light within you.
Perhaps you think your passion less than His.
Yet you have all the radiance of Being,
Even as you wait upon your name.
All have the capacity of seeing
Such glory as no moment can sustain.
Time requires death and resurrection
Even as each being is perfection,
Real beyond the realm of loss and pain.

PASS OVER ME, DEAR LORD, PLEASE PASS ME BY

Pass over me, dear Lord, please pass me by.
Attend not to the fortune of my fate.
Spare me not, nor crush me. Let me be
Servant only to my willing heart.
Open not your gates, nor oceans part.
Vest not laws and covenants in me.
Each soul must choose the valor of its state:
Return to myth that I might truly die.

FOR YOUR FIFTIETH BIRTHDAY LET US SING

For your fiftieth birthday let us sing!
In celebration let your loved ones dance!
Fair seedtime had our souls within your heart,
Taking joy from innocent romance.
You gave to us a gentle, loving spring.
