My living rm is 13x 20 with light beige walls and white trim with cho?

colate brown furniture it is a high traffic area(4 kids) what would be a good color and carpet type? help i am terrible at decorating a home.
We have the original hardwood floors now and we do not like them at all.

Of course those other options are great but if you are determined for a carpet, get a mixed berber. Beige and touch of brown and gold speckles in it and you can also put a touch of another color in that carpet if you wanna be more bold dark reds also look nice with brown colors as well as blues even navy blue which ever you prefer and its so subtle when mixed all togeather, and then add pillow accents on your couch to splash some color on there. The mixed colors hide dirt , a rich warm tone. Hope that helps – and a runner on the busy area is the best way

It was not so long ago that light switch plates only came in white or beige plastic with one or two holes for switches. If you thought something else might be nice, too bad. White or beige light switch plates were the industry standard, and what you got. Pretty boring, huh?
