Best drugstore makeup?

I can’t really afford MAC makeup or even anything a bit expensive like Clinique, so :

Hmmm I say Concealor would be Neutrogena’s healthy stick. Comes in fair, light and medium. 8.99 I love it because its easy to apply and is not too thick

Foundation- it honestly depends on your skin type and if you want thick coverage or light…

For a light coverage i would use the loreal true match. as well as their powder. 10.49 each. Its a light coverage with a matching powder and you can find it ideal to your skin color. It even tells you that if you like wearing gold, silver or both which skin tones you have like cool, warm or neutral.

For thicker coverage i would use revlon’s colorstaymakeup in the round container. this is a big seller at my work.

blush- i would use physicians formula ( the one with the different colors in the pallet so you could mix it to your ideal shade.)

Eye shadow- I adore loreal’s hip line!! My favorite is the “Foxy” in a duo. i love it because it gives you a brown and a pink so you can blend it and put it by you eyelid and on top of it giving it a nice blend and “foxy eyes”

Eyeliner would have to be rimmel’s soft kohl pencils.. black is what i use. it goes on gently so it can be applied to the actual eyelid or to the line.

mascara i would get covergirls lash exact (in a purple tube)
i have tiny eyelashes and it draws them out very nicely.

Lipstick- Revlon (in the green tube i cannot reccomend one with out seeing you, but the corals would be a hot color for this time of year)

but to save some money. i love loreal’s bare naturale. its a mineral powder and with that you don’t need a foundation and powder because its all in one.

How Waterproof Cosmetics are Becoming the Must Have Product!

Waterproof cosmetics are just what they say they are – cosmetics that are unaffected by water. They`ve been around for a bit – some women like them, while some prefer to stay with the traditional form of cosmetics that remove easily with water. Waterproof cosmetics have their uses and are usually pretty specific. We`ll tell you what you need to know about this form of makeup and you can decide if it`s right for you. Waterproof makeup is formulated with the same ingredients as traditional cosmetics, only with an added ingredient that makes it resistant to moisture. You`re basically using the same makeup formulation since the waterproof version is based upon the original version, just with a little extra something. Waterproof cosmetics aren`t right for everyone, however, and there are some things you`ll need to know before purchasing and wearing them.

You should elect to go with waterproof cosmetics anytime your face will be exposed to moisture and you don`t want to come out looking like Rocky the Raccoon. A day at the beach, for example, hiking days where you`ll be sweating a lot, or a wedding or funeral where you know the waterworks will be turned on. Beauty experts recommend you save the waterproof for occasion such as these instead of everyday use. Make sure you wash immediately when your day is done since the combination of moisture and ingredients in the waterproof makeup can and will clog pores – don`t sleep in waterproof makeup.

If you have any history of eye-allergies, skin problems around the eyes, or sensitive skin, it is not recommended that you use waterproof cosmetics as this may aggravate the problem. Stick to going very light on the traditional cosmetics or, if you`re gutsy enough, go bare instead.
